Fenton-Funeral service for Elaine Cormier, 80, will be held in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Fenton at 10am on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Fr. Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 4-9pm in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder with a rosary being recited at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 8am until time of service.
Elaine was a devoted catholic her entire life as well as being devoted to her late husband, Elvin, for 59 years. She enjoyed cooking and listening to French music. She also loved her pet dog, Bugger. Elaine was a loving mom who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include one son, Phillip Cormier and wife, Sherri of Fenton; one sister, Ana LeDoux of Lake Charles; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Cormier and her parents, Louise and Dorville Saucier.
