Mary Katherine Boudreaux better known as "Kathy" by those that loved her was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a proud mother to five children: Michelle Whiteley, Cameron Delaney, Beth Domingue, Jenny McCann, and Steven Foreman. She adored her seven grandchildren who will forever remember her as "Big Mama" – their loving grandmother who spoiled them and cooked the best gumbo and potato salad in South Louisiana.
A 1965 graduate of Iowa High School, Kathy enjoyed a fulfilling career as a paralegal in Lafayette, Louisiana. Known for her strong work ethic, Kathy also found joy in tending to her plants, crocheting, antiquing, visiting the beach, and cooking for her family. She built lasting friendships with neighbors and coworkers and cherished the time she spent with her close group of girlfriends.
Even in her battle with dementia, Kathy maintained her trademark humor and quick wit until the very end. Kathy's vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Kathy's memory include her mother, Yvonne Findley; five children, Michelle Whiteley, Cameron Delaney, Beth Domingue, Jenny McCann, and Steven Foreman; cherished group of siblings, Harry Findley, Al Findley, Sarah Ryland, and Robin Hammonds; seven grandchildren, Julien Domingue, Brooklyn Domingue, Austin Whiteley, Lauren Whiteley, Sean Whiteley, Asa McCann, Chloe McCann and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
