Kinder-Funeral Services for Mary J. Artis, 64, will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Kinder under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Mary was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She loved going to church when she was able, reading her Bible and when people would pick her up and take her somewhere to eat. Mary also enjoyed watching television. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Mary's memory include her brother, Hebert Artis and wife, Marcella, of Kinder; three nieces and one nephew.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Edison and Rena Artis; and one sister, Joyce Holloway.
