Oakdale-Funeral services for Martha Jane Ashworth, 59, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Rev. Erwin Goodman will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakhill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of service at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

Martha was a loving mother. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. Even when Martha was at her lowest she still had a smile on her face. Her son was her life. She was a very independent person and never wanted to be a burden to anyone. Martha loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Martha's memory include her mom, Martha J. Hyatt; one son, Jessie Ashworth; one brother, Greg Evans; seven nieces; and one nephew.

Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Ashworth; and grandparents, Cage and Martha Cloud.
