Obituary
Mr. Marlan C. Marcantel, age 80, of Crowley, formerly from Kinder, passed
away on December 11, 2012. A Private Graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Green Oak Cemetery in Kinder. The private
services will be officiated by Brother Don Willis under the direction of
Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Mr. Marlan Marcantel served our country as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. He was a farmer and Agri-Businessman who worked very hard to provide for his family. He graduated from LSU and was an avid Tigers fan. He was a devoted husband of more than 39 years and a loving dad and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia Marcantel of Crowley; two sons,
Merek and wife Vicky Marcantel of Pineville, and Mitchell and wife Kristi Marcantel of Houston, TX; and three grandchildren, Derek, Jay, and Elise.
Marlan is preceded in death by his parents, Oza and Virgie Marcantel.
