Marcella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; her five sons were the pride and joy of her life. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Richard, for 64 years. Marcella was a woman of strong faith and dearly loved God. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her sisters. She and her sisters would laugh with each other the entire time they were together. She enjoyed cooking and loved having her family over for home cooked meals. Her sons say she made the best roast in the world. She would always say to her sons "come on over, I have a big pot and a little pot." Although she was originally from Kansas, her favorite meal was crawfish etouffee. She had a servant's heart and always made sure to ask her house guests if they would like something to eat or drink. She was a wonderful example of faith, love, and hospitality. Marcella will be deeply missed by her husband, her sons, her grandchildren and all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Marcella's memory include her husband, Richard McNabb; five sons, Danny Ray McNabb and wife, Jean, of Lubbock, TX, Rex Kimbery McNabb of Fenton, Thomas Kirk McNabb and wife, Melissa, of Port Neches, TX, Bruce Lance McNabb and wife, Leatrice, of West Monroe, and Richard Lee McNabb and wife, Rebecca, of Lake Charles; 8 grandchildren, Brandon, Marcus, Colton, Travis, Hannah, and Trista McNabb, Ashley Green and Amberly Sonnier; and 9 great grandchildren.
