Elton-Funeral services for Mannon Starr Champagne, 43, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. John Cernek will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 4-10 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

On Friday, July 23, 2021, Mannon Starr Champagne, a loving and beautiful daughter, wife, sister, and mother passed away. Starr was born on February 3, 1978 to Addis and Debra Williams. Her passion in life was making people laugh and being a helping hand to those in need; especially her family and friends. She loved to feel needed and always strived to make her family proud. Starr was well-known for her vibrant spirit and her youthful heart that made everyone's day brighter. She loved singing, pulling pranks and was always seen laughing and smiling. Starr will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Starr's memory include her husband, Kenneth Champagne; four children, Reagan Williams, Dana Williams, Jeremie Broussard and Joseph Chad Briscoe, Jr.; two brothers, Montaro Williams and Nakoma Williams; one sister, Niomie Allison and husband, Jerome; two nephews, Montaro Williams, Jr. and Gabriel Williams; three nieces, Justice and Emerald Williams and Haven Allison; one great niece, Kallie Williams; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

Starr was preceded in death by her father, Addis Williams; and mother, Debra Williams.
