Kinder-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mable LeJeune, 93, announce her passing on May 14, 2015. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 in the "Benny Earl Pelican" Memorial Chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 5-9 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Sunday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Mable was a lifelong resident of the Indian Village community. She was a devoted wife of 48 years to her husband, Lester, prior to his passing away. She was also a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She especially adored her "three boys". She had a passion for flowers and animals. She also enjoyed gardening and canning. Mable loved spending time with her family and always looked forward to cooking Sunday dinner for them. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Mable is survived by her three sons-Charles McClellan and wife, Michelle, Michael "Punkin" LeJeune and wife, Sheila, and William "Bic
" LeJeune and wife, Beverly, all of Kinder; five grandchildren-Daniel "Booger" McClellan, Dana Gillard, Nicki Coulquit, Chance and Collin McClellan; and nine great grandchildren-Dilan, Kelsey, Kaden and Kooper McClellan, Shelby, Kylee and Josie Gillard, Kallie LeJeune, and Addi Coulquit.
Mable is preceded in death by her husband-Lester LeJeune; her parents- Frank and Amy Derosier; and her sisters-Bernice Pitre, Leona Hebert, Wilda Deville, Eula Naquin, Beatrice Miller, Georgia Fuselier, and Dovey Sonnier.
