Kinder-A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Mable Eaglin Deville, 86, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder. Rev. Fr. Alan Trouille will officiate. Mable will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in Elton immediately following her services.

Mable's family will accept friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 5-7 o'clock p.m. Mable's visitation will resume on Thursday morning, December 21, 2023, from 9 o'clock a.m. until time of service with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 1 o'clock p.m.  All of Mable's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Mable was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful wife to her husband Joseph Deville for 62 years until his passing in November of 2020. Mable's greatest joy was surrounding herself with family and friends. She enjoyed the simple things in life and loved to laugh and spend time with her family. Mable was a kind and caring person who will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Mable's memory include one daughter, Margaret Deville Williams and husband Michael of Greenville, MS; one son, Michael Deville and wife Theresa of Pineville, LA; two granddaughters, Ashley Bulloch and husband Blaine of Shreveport, LA and Kristen Deville of Pineville, LA; and a host on nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mable is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick, and Camille Eaglin; her husband, Joseph Deville; one daughter, Joanne Deville; three brothers, Patrick Eaglin Jr., Wilfred Eaglin Sr., and Wilton Eaglin Sr.; and one sister Mary Cole.
