Kinder-Funeral Services for Luther Dickerson, 68, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Kinder Bible Church.  Rev. Don Barrett will officiate.  Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. The family will receive visitors on Monday at Kinder Bible Church from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Luther was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Debra, for 43 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, cars, and motorcycles. He was a man of strong faith. He was a faithful member of Kinder Bible Church for eight years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren. He liked to pick and play. He was a very reserved man. He worked for Citgo for 34 years until his retirement in 2008. Luther will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Luther's memory include his wife, Debra Savant Dickerson; three sons, Ryan Dickerson and wife, Ruth, of Grapevine, TX, Benjamin Dickerson and wife, Devin, of Ragley, and Seth Dickerson and wife, Lindy, of Lake Charles; one brother, John Dickerson and wife, Peggy, of Reeves; and nine grandchildren.

Luther is preceded in death by his parents Luther and Essie Dickerson.
