Kinder- Funeral service for Lula Bell, 81, will be held Monday, August 18, 2008 at 10 AM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church of Kinder. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.

Visitation will begin on Sunday in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 3 to 9 PM, with a vigil at 6 PM followed by a rosary, and will continue on Monday from 8 AM till time of service.

Lula Bell was a lifelong resident of Kinder. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Ladies Alter Society, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She loved to travel, shop and loved her family and friends. She worked for Dr. Storer for 50 years. As a nurse, she was often the first point of contact, whatever the time of day. Her commitment to her community will always be remembered.

She is survived by one son, Scott Bell and his wife, Fiona Dagge- Bell of Edinburgh, Scotland; one sister, Dora Ferguson of Kinder, and numerous nieces and nephews.
