Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Louis J. LaFargue, 78, will be Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 2 PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Bro Ricky Fontenot will officiate. Burial will be in Indian Village Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 10 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 7 AM till time of service.

Mr. LaFargue was a resident of Kinder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. LouAnna Bushnell LaFargue of Kinder; two sons, Donovan Corkran and wife Lola of Leblanc, and Louis Joseph LaFargue II and wife Enola of Kinder; three daughters, Renee Welch of Whitehouse, TX, Jane Lormand and husband Ricky of Kinder, and Rebecca Butts of Kinder; three sisters, Lois Graves of Plaquemine, LA, Jeanette Aguillard and husband Bryan of Bridge City, TX, Judy Doga of Lake Charles; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
