Oberlin- Funeral service for Mrs. Louella Fontenot McCauley, 78, will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Oberlin mausoleum under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Saturday in the church from 9:00 a.m., with a scripture service & rosary at 10:00 a.m., until time of service.
Mrs. McCauley was a resident of Soileau, member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, a member of Family and Community Educators, and a voting commissioner for many years. She enjoyed attending the St. Joseph's Altar and also enjoyed representing her domestic skills during the local & state fairs. Mrs. McCauley passed away Thursday, September 18, 2008.
Survivors include one son, Cory McCauley & wife Lisa of Katy, TX; two daughters, Rebecca Vidrine & husband Clarence of Grand Chenier, Monica LaPoint & husband Rodney of Leblanc; one brother, Vernon Fontenot & wife Catherine of River Ridge; 7 grandchildren, Lori Vidrine, Kristine Hardee & husband Brian, Bart Vidrine, Amanda LaPoint, Maria Helton & husband Jackson, Phillip LaPoint & Alexie McCauley; four great grandchildren, Jackson & Camille Hardee, Jared & Jacob Bertrand.
Preceded in death by her husband, Helin McCauley; two sons, Gentry & Malcolm McCauley.
