Obituary
Reeves-Funeral service for Mrs. Lou A. Parker, 88, will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 at 10 am in Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Kinder. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetary under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will held Sunday in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 12pm-9pm and will continue Monday at 8am until time of service.
Lou was a resident of Reeves. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Nathan A "Bea" Parker and a son, Billy Parker.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her daughters, Maureen Young and husband, Wayne of Reeves and Evon Higginbotham of Deridder; one brother, Cliff Corkran and wife, Pat of Port Neches, TX; one sister, Vercie Lanier of Port Neches, TX; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and, one great-great grandchild.
