Kinder- Loresa M. Manuel, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in her home in Lake Charles, to join her husband, Madison Manuel, and her grandson, Bryan Scott Manuel in eternal peace.
She was a longtime resident of Kinder, where she attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, before she went to live with her daughter in Lake Charles, and became a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church. .
She leaves behind her son, Terry J. Manuel & daughter-in-law, Sherry W. Manuel of Adamsville, TN; daughter, Ezora Linn Manuel of Lake Charles; brother, Alvin Eugene Manuel of Baton Rouge; sister, Louanna Miller of Iowa; grandson, T. David Manuel of Dallas, TX.
Preceded in death by her parents, Actual Manuel & Ezora Deshotel Manuel; brother, Vodise Manuel; sisters, "Nickley" LeDoux, and Lorena Manuel.
Funeral mass for Mrs. Loresa Manuel, 84, will be held Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be in the funeral home Wednesday from 4pm-10pm with a vigil at 6p.m. and a rosary will follow. Visitation will continue Thursday at 8a.m. until time of service
