Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Alwin "Red" Lola Manuel, 77, will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 2 PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Pastor Paul Cavenah will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday from 1 to 10 PM and will continue on Tuesday from
7 AM till time of service.

Mrs. Manuel was a lifelong resident of Kinder. She passed away on Sunday in Lafayette. She is survived by her son, Jerome Manuel and wife Brenda of Kinder; three daughters, Mrs. Kay Broussard and husband Daniel of Jennings, Mrs. Myra Batchelor and husband Dwight of Kinder, and Mrs. Alice Ferguson and husband Wayne of Sunset; one brother, Paul Fontenot and wife Rose of Sulphur; one sister, Elaine LaPoint and husband Leman of West Lake, 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alwin "Red" Manuel.
