Kinder-Funeral service for Lois Eva Young Bartell, 86, will be held at 10 A.M. on September 2, 2014, in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Rod Nesmith will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Monday, September 1, 2014, from 5-10 P.M. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning from 8 A.M. until time of service.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Charles Ray Barker and wife, Linda, of Oberlin, and Bobby Glenn Barker of Kinder; three daughters, Helen Ruth Daniels and husband, Buddy, of Oberlin, Peggy Ann Spears and husband, John, of Kinder, and Patricia "Patty" Ann Barker of Kinder; one sister, Doris Cloud of Arkansas; 17 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Sally Young and her husband, Charles O. Bartell.
