Oakdale-Littie Leavelle Hutchinson, 79, passed away at Allen Oaks Nursing Home on March 7, 2023.  Her funeral service will be held at Christ Church of Oakdale at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023.  Rev. Greg Willis and Rev. Thompy Palmer will officiate.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Christ Church of Oakdale on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Leavelle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who always enjoyed having a good time.  She was a very happy person who liked to make people laugh and be happy.  She took care of all her nieces and nephews as though they were her own.  Leavelle loved to sing, play the piano, and make music for the Lord.  She was also known as the "world's greatest waitress!"  Her passing will leave a great void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Leavelle is survived by her sisters, Louise Johnson, Yvonne Swartz, Laverne Nichols, and Jeanette Horton; 5 grandchildren-Richard, Shane, Derrick, Hayden, and Cortlyn; and 3 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Hutchinson; parents, Herbert and Maggie Burton; son, Richard Wiseman; brother, Eugene Buxton; 4 sisters-Ruth Bond, Carolyn Musselwhite, Elaine Soley, and Lois Giles; and a grandchild, Kristine Wiseman
