Elton-Celebration of Life services honoring Lionel "Bubba" John LeJeune Jr., 51, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. "Bubba's" family will host private inurnment services in his memory at a future date.

"Bubba's" family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Sunday evening, April 21, 2024, from 3-9 o'clock p.m. "Bubba's" visitation will resume at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Monday morning, April 22, 2024, from 10 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of "Bubba's" arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Lionel, affectionately called "Bubba" by all who knew him, was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on October 23, 1972, to the union of Lionel John and Ella Marie Trumps LeJeune. He worked hard in petroleum industry. "Bubba" was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and anything that involved the outdoors. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish "Bubba's" memory include his father, Lionel John LeJeune, Sr, and companion Bonita Murray; his companion, Sylvia John; four sons, Brayden, Brenden, and Branson LeJeune and Andrew Young and wife Kristan; one daughter, Tai Benoit; one brother, Charles LeJeune, and wife Jesse; three sisters, Belinda Kratzer and companion Craig Fontenot, Julia Shuff and companion Tony Broussard, and Dorothy LeJeune and companion Tony; and six grandchildren.

"Bubba" is preceded in death by his mother, Ella Marie Trumps, and his grandmother Alberta Dorothy LeJeune.
