Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Linnie Fay Johnson, 73, will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 11:00a.m. in Indian Village Baptist Church. Rev. E.J. McCahn, Rev. Terry Bushnell, and Rev. John Moffett will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Indian Village Baptist Church Monday from 11am-10pm and will continue Tuesday at 9am until time of service.
Mrs. Johnson was a resident of Kinder. She was a member of Indian Village Baptist Church where she was active in many activities and loved her church family. Mrs. Johnson passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010.
She is survived by her five children, Roger Johnson & wife Jackie, James Johnson & wife Sheila, Floyce "Sissy" Pellerin & husband Kevin, JoAnn Johnson, and Mable Johnson all of Kinder; brother, Eurshel Holden of Kinder; two sisters, JoAnn Chaffin & Eva Marcantel both of Kinder; 12 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Johnson; parents Floyce & Rill Holden; sister, Gladys Carraway.
Mrs. Johnson was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that will be missed dearly.
