Kinder-Funeral services for Linda Fay Ortego, 73, will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 4 p.m. until time of service.

Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Before her health and mobility were impaired, she loved to spend her Sundays cooking for her family. They spent many weekends together watching baking competitions on TV while enjoying her meals. Linda also enjoyed shopping for jewelry and clothes on HSN. Her pride and joy around the holidays was decorating her yard for Halloween and Christmas. But more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Linda's memory include her son, Philip Rozas and wife, Sara; eight grandchildren, Sidney, Joseph, Tristan and Jaxon Rozas, Harleigh and Haiden McCann, and Reagan and Caleb Rozas; and one great grandchild.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Philip Ortego and Mary Louise Fontenot; two sons, Chester Anthony Rozas, III and Craig Anthony Rozas; and one sister, Madeline Ortego.
