Elton-Celebration of Life services honoring Linda Faye John Laughlin, 76, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, October 2, 2024, at Ardoin Funeral of Elton. Rev. Janson Poncho will officiate. Linda will be laid to rest at St. Peter Cemetery in Elton immediately following her services.

Linda's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Wednesday morning, October 2, 2024, from 9 o'clock a.m. until time of service.  All of Linda's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a lifelong resident of Elton and a member of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.  Linda loved spending time with her family and cherished every memory she made with them.  She loved making tribal baskets and giving them to her family and friends. Linda was a kind and caring person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Linda's memory include two sons, Anthony Tabbytosavit and wife Susian, and Ryan Laughlin and wife Kenya; six grandsons, four granddaughters, five great grandsons, two great granddaughters; one sister, Lora Langley; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband Philip Laughlin; her parents, Hebert and Lysia John; one son, Craig Dean Tabbytosavit; and three brothers.
