Kinder-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Linda Marie Naquin Cronan, age 70, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Rev. Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 2-9 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held at 6 p.m. followed by the praying of the Holy Rosary. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Linda was a devoted wife and mother. Over the years, she was very active in the Kinder community. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Linda loved crocheting, music, poetry, and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. She had a great sense of humor and was a very kind-hearted person. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Linda's memory include four sons-Thomas Paul Cronan, Jr. and wife, Denise, of Mauriceville, TX, Robert L. Cronan of Jacksonville, FL, Andrew Cronan of D'Iberville, MS, and Roy Anthony Cronan of Kinder; two daughters-Beth Vermeulen and husband, John, of West Union, OH, and Andrea Jenkins of Kinder; her stepmother-Wilma Naquin of Kinder; six sisters-Marlene Swan and husband, Kirt, of Lafayette, Myrtis Hudson and husband, Charles, of Merryville, Lisa Miller and husband, Pat, of Kinder, Jane Comp and Pam Davis, both of Sulphur, and Ann Baker of Moss Bluff; one godchild, Kimberly Cline of Lumberton, TX; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her father-Leroy Naquin; her mother-Joyce Ardoin Sonnier; and her husband-Thomas Paul Cronan, Sr.
