Oakdale-Funeral service for Linda Bruce, 76, will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Rev. Dexter Goins will officiate.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will begin receiving visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home, 311 Highway 1152, Oakdale on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 4 p.m. and will continue through service time on Tuesday afternoon.

Linda loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world.  She loved to listen to gospel music and loved watching tennis.  She always put her family first and was always there to help with her motherly needs as only she could do.  Linda loved to knit and spend time with her family.  She will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish Linda's memory are her sons, Timothy Fee, of Oberlin and Dewayne Fee, of Arkansas; two daughters, Crystal Viscardis-Thomas, of Oakdale, and Janet Vertiz, of Glenmora; two brothers, David Daily of Alexandria, and Freddie Daily of Colorado; two sisters, Charlotte Fruge and Kathy Smith, both of Oakdale; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Arvin and Ruby Daily; her husband, Arthur Bruce; and, one sister, Harlene Ray.
