Kinder- Funeral Mass for Mrs. Lessie Soileau LaFleur, 84, will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 11:00a.m. in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Elton under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Monday in the funeral home from 3pm-10pm with a vigil service at 6:30pm and a rosary will follow. Visitation will continue Tuesday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. LaFleur was a resident of Kinder. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. She was a beloved mother that enjoyed quilting, crafts, & cooking. Mrs. LaFleur passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009.
Survivors include two sons, Cecil LaFleur & wife Barbara of Kinder, Kurt LaFleur & wife Susan of Ragley; two daughters, Louella L. Marcantel of Kinder, Jeanette Prejean & husband Milton of Carencro; three sisters, Mary Courville of Kinder, Ruby Rester of Kinder, & Juanita Womack of Easley, S.C.; 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, & 9 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. LaFleur is preceded in death by her husband Norris LaFleur; parents, Poley & Dia Soileau; brother, Otis Soileau; sister, Lilly Courville.
