Elton-Funeral service for Leroy Euric Soileau, 74, will be held Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Elton. Rev. Babasino Fernandez will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be held on Friday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Leroy was a lifelong resident of Elton. He worked as a farm hand over the years. He enjoyed being with family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Eaglin Soileau of Elton; three sons, Reginald Wayne Soileau, David Soileau and John Kenneth Soileau, all of Elton; two brothers, J.C. Soileau and wife, Della Mae of Elton and Herbert Soileau and wife, Sue of California; two sisters, Delores Soileau Morris and husband, Alvin and Louella Soileau, all of Texas; and one grandchild, Jami K. Richard.
Leroy is preceded in death by his parents, R.L. and Lucy Soileau; and, two brothers, Allen and Joseph Soileau.
