Elton -Funeral service for Leo Francis of Elton, 90, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Rev. Freddie Jack will officiate.  Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 4 p.m. to midnight.  Visitation will continue at the church on Monday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Leo was a loving husband and brother. He lived his entire married life in Elton.  He was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Leo worked in the construction industry, enjoyed cooking for his family and friends, and liked to be photographed.  He also liked watching his favorite team, Southern Comfort, play baseball.  Another pastime for Leo was driving and washing his pickup truck.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Leo's memory include his wife of 67 years, Evon; three sisters, Bertha, Eunice and Marjorie; and two brothers, Hubert and Wiley.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Felicia Francis; three brothers, Mayo, Sherman and Sidney Francis; and two sisters, Lydia Guillory and Gurtie Francis.
