Elton- Funeral service for Mr. Lee Roy Joseph Young, 66, will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton. Deacon John Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be Monday from 6pm-8pm with a rosary at 6:30pm and will continue Tuesday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Young was a native of Elton and a resident of Ragley. He passed away Saturday June 28, 2008 in a Lake Charles care center.
Survivors include 6 children, Tammi Young Lavergne of Ragley, Rance Wayne Young, Lisa Young Cheek, Peggy Young Crisp, Shyla Young Sander, June Young Sankey all of North Carolina; three brothers, Earl Young of Lake Charles, Donald Young & Dennis Young both of Ragley; 14 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild.
Preceded in death his spouse, Orniel Faye Istre Young.
