Kinder-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Lawrence "Larry" Gurdon Wilhelmi, 54, at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Rev. Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m.
Larry graduated from Kinder High School in 1979. He served in the Air Force from 1981-1985. He was also a McNeese University graduate. He was currently residing in Lake Charles.
Larry is survived by one daughter, Jessica Wilhelmi O'Donnell and husband, Mike, of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Debra L. Pearcy of Denver, CO, and Chris Ann Wilhelmi of Lafayette; and his only surviving aunt, Betty U. Wilhelmi, of Kinder.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Donald J. and Linda Buck Wilhelmi.
