Kinder-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Laura Jane Landry, 73, at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Rev Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m.
Laura was a loving person who loved her family. She enjoyed cooking, French music and dancing when she was able. She was a woman of strong faith who loved church and dearly loved her priest and deacon. She loved her friends at the nursing home, especially Kayla. Laura will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Laura's memory include her two sisters, Eva Rita Ball and husband, Reginald Jr., and Joan Ardoin and husband, Lawrence, both of Lake Charles.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Izella and Edward Landry.
