Mrs. Laura Kathaleen "Kathy" Stockwell Cormier

Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Laura Kathleen "Kathy" Stockwell Cormier, 55, will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 10 AM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Bro. Anthony Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Elton.

Visitation will begin Monday from 3PM to 10 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 8 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Cormier was a resident of Ragley, member of Kinder Church of Christ, and a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter M. She loved animals and enjoyed showing rabbits at local Elementary Schools. Mrs. Cormier passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Longville, LA.
She was a happily loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and a friend to all who knew her. Kathy will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Orise Cormier Jr.; two sons, Orise Cormier III and wife Tiffiany of Jennings, and Ruben "Tommy" Cormier and wife Amber of Ragley; two daughters, Misti Cormier Johnson of Oakdale, and Tara LaBruyere and husband Patrick of Longville; mother, Anita Stockwelll of Oberlin; two brothers, T.C. Stockwell & wife Shelia of BigSpring, TX, Wayne Stockwell & wife Sandra of Oberlin; three sisters, Kay Reed & husband Rene of Folsom, Linda Mahaffey & husband Mac of Iowa, Ann Townley & husband Roger of Oakdale; 10 grandchildren, Taylor, Reese, Cole, Kaylan, Michaela, Kane, Eric, Andie, Aaron, & Alex.
Kathy was Preceded in death by her father, Tommy Stockwell.
