Larry as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Larry was a faithful and dedicated member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Oakdale where he attended church regularly. He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities including camping, mowing grass, taking care of his cattle, and fishing. Larry was a member of the Gideons International and served his country in the United States Navy. He loved to cook and like to have everyone gather at his home for fried fish and french fries. He moved to Oakdale from Portland Oregon to take care of his mother, where he took great care of her until her passing. Larry was a kind and caring person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish Larry's memory include his wife, Debra Lynn Johnson; one son, Michael Doyle; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Doyle; one brother, Ron Johnson, and wife Edna; three grandchildren, Halon and Emma McKissick, and Callie Doyle, and one great grandchild, Lucas Doyle.

Larry's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Brighton Bridge Hospice, Anna Doyle, Brook Darbonne, Anna Manuel, Kim Duplichain, Chaplain, Bro. Don Duplichain, and Juanita Fontenot for all their care and compassion while caring for Larry.
