Kinder-Funeral Services for Larry Bob Guillory, 76, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Deacon Roy Nash will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 3-9 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Larry was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and making homemade sausage. Larry worked hard in the oil industry overseas his whole life to provide for his family. He was an altar server in the Catholic Church during his youth; during that time he learned a lot about his Catholic heritage. He was also very proud of his Cajun French heritage. Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Larry's memory include his previous wife, Georgia Guillory of Kinder; two sons, Larry Guillory, Jr., and wife, Sonya, of Alabama and Jarrett Guillory and wife, Amanda, of Mittie; three daughters, Melissa LeJeune and husband, Kenneth, of Mena, Arkansas, Myka Guidry and husband, Shawn, of Mittie and Cameron Baggett Looney of Mittie; two sisters, Thelma Fontenot and husband, Gene, of Lake Charles and Judith Shuff and husband, Clifford, of Lake Charles; eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Allie and Lena Guillory; and one grandson, Caleb Smith.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Larry's neighbors and good friends for many years, Linda and Dan Rider. Also, a special thanks to Kinder Retirement and Brighton Bridge Hospice for all of their love, care and compassion they have shown.
