Oberlin-Funeral service for Mr. Kirk Carrier, 38, will be held Sunday, August 28,
2011 at 12pm in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Quitin Armsted will
officiate. Burial will follow in Durio Cemetery in Oberlin, La.
Visitation will he held Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 1-9pm in Ardoin
Funeral Home of Kinder and will continue Sunday at 8am till time of service.
Kirk worked in the offshore petroleum industry for 18 years. He was a
special person who helped anyone and everyone who was in need or want. He
never turned his back on anyone, Kirk never met a stranger or a person who didn't
like him. He went to see his Lord in heaven on August, 23, 2011 at Lake Charles
Memorial Hospital.
Kirk is survived by his financee, Marie Delome of Kinder; his mom, Alma
Faye Carrier of Oberlin; his father, Ross Bryant of Houston, Tx.; four daughters,
Kourtni Hillman, Davelon Hillman of Hutton, Kaylie Carrier of Hathaway, and
Kirston Carrier of Lake Charles; four brothers, Gerald Carrier of Minnesota, Oris
Carrier and wife Pat of Oberlin, Anthony (Doc) Carrier of Kinder, and Gary
(Whitie) Carrier of Oberlin; and three sisters, Stacey Artis, Cassundra Bryant,
and Vanetta Bryant of Houston, Tx.
