OBERLIN-Funeral service for Kimberly Lovejoy, 40, will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Allen Parish Funeral Home-Oberlin Chapel. Rev. A.A. Haymon will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery of Oakdale under the direction of Allen Parish Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home, 119 S. 7th, Oberlin from 3-9 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Survivors include Kimberly's mother, Norma Jane Willis of Oberlin; her husband, Rusty Lovejoy of Kinder; one son, Micah Lovejoy of Oberlin; three daughters, Michaela, Megan and Mikel Lovejoy, all of Oberlin; three brothers, Tony Willis of Colorado Springs, CO, Mike Willis of Oberlin and Jason Willis of Sugartown; three sisters, Missy Johnson of Woodworth, Kristi Cole of Oberlin and Candace Smith of Lafayette; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Kimberly was a loving mother and was a grandmother-to-be. She loved her work as a photographer and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, Julius Willis.
