Reeves-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kerry Rogers, 75, announce his passing on November 14, 2014. Funeral service will be held at Reeves Bible Church at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014. Rev. Glenn Ducharme will officiate. Burial will follow in Creel Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors at Reeves Bible Church on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 3-9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Monday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Kerry was a devoted husband of 54 years. He was a loving dad and a proud grandfather. He worked hard to provide for his family over the years. He was retired from Basell Industries after 40 years of service. Kerry loved gardening, fishing and woodworking. He was a member of Reeves Bible Church since 1974. Kerry was a man of strong faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife-Marva (Meba) Rogers of Reeves; three sons-Steven Olen Rogers and wife, Donna, and Troy Wayne Rogers and wife, Terry, all of Reeves, and Donald Eugene Rogers and wife, Lori, of Moss Bluff; ten grandchildren-Daniel Olen Rogers and wife Kelsey, of Okinawa, Japan, Miriam deLaunay and husband, Eric, of Reeves, Joel Steven Rogers and wife, Kelli, of Georgetown, TX, Tressa Key and husband, Anthony, of Sulphur, Cora Welch and husband, Josh, of Fort Hood, TX, Caleb Rogers of Reeves, Christopher, Calixto, and Lora Anne, and Jewelia Keri Rogers, all of Moss Bluff; and five great grandchildren-Hailey and Levi Rogers, of Okinawa, Japan, Gracie, Calvin, and Alex Welch, all of Fort Hood, TX.
Kerry is preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Maydee Rogers.
