Kinder-Funeral service for Kenny Elwin Marcantel, 55, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Brian Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Friday, February 1, 2019 from noon-10 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Kenny was a happy go lucky person. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking and dancing. He was a very kind hearted person and always helped others. Kenny was a man of strong faith. He loved raising pigs and growing vegetables. He loved to teach his children and grandchildren to have a good work ethic. "THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER KENNY MARCANTEL" "I AIN'T LYIN" . He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Kenny's memory include his wife, Theda Marcantel of Kinder; two sons, Derek Marcantel and wife, Rachel, of Kinder and Nick Marcantel and wife, Breanne, of Kinder; three adopted daughters, Johnna Parker of Reeves, Joryn Morgan of Topsy, and Erica Courville of Lake Charles; three brothers, Elwin Marcantel Jr., of Kinder, Shane Marcantel of Oakdale, and Raymond Marcantel and wife, Melissa, of Kinder; four sisters, Peggy Ogea and husband, Ronnie, of Kinder, Burnadine Chapman and husband, John, of Kinder, Grace Marcantel of Kinder, and Veronica Marcantel of Kinder; and five grandchildren, Tyler Borque, Connor Marcantel, Weston Johnson, Logan Marcantel, and Tucker Marcantel.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin Marcantel Sr., and Bonnie Marcantel; and one nephew, Chad Marcantel.
