Kenneth was raised in Elton, LA. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was an accomplished tradesman and businessman. He started his mechanical career at Harvey’s Garage in his teens. After that he moved on to be a manager & regional manager for the Mr. Cooks chain. After being there for a few years, he decided to go back to doing mechanic & body work and opened Elton Paint & Body shop. He loved working on cars, fixing things, and helping people. After that he started working at the Coushatta Tribe as the Manager for the Coushatta Convenience Store, then the Housing Director for the Tribe, and finally retiring from Buffalo Run. He loved to fish, travel, and be with family.
One thing he loved more than working on cars was his family. To say everything, he’s worked for and accomplished in life was for his family would be an understatement. He was married for 46 years to Patricia Wilson, and they had three children: Wayne, Kristy, and Nicholas. Later on, he got 6 grandchildren: Dylon, Kylie, Hunter, Trent, Ryland, and Jett. Last but not least his great grandchildren; Hazely, Aubrie, and Oakley.
Those left to cherish Kenneth’s memory are Wayne, Jeanne, Kylie, and Trent Wilson. Kristy Wilson (Hazely & Aubrie Fontenot) Hunter Marcantel (Oakley Marcantel). Nicholas Wilson (Ryland & Jett Wilson).
Kenneth is preceded in death by Zula Wilson, Patricia Wilson, Dylon Fontenot.
