Elton-Funeral Services for Kennedie Faye Murphy, 5, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton. Burial will follow at Ashford Cemetery in Eunice under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 4-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 10 a.m. until time of service.

Kennedie was a vibrant, bold, honest and determined little girl that never backed down from a sibling fight and no matter what always had to have the last word. She was beautiful, bright and one of a kind. Kennedie's smile, hugs and love of life was enough to brighten the worst of anyone's days. Her favorite colors were pink and purple. She enjoyed going to school and playing with her friends. Kennedie also enjoyed swimming, riding her bicycle, watching the movie, Matilda and getting filthy anywhere she could. She loved her some bubblegum. Kennedie loved her brothers and sisters, but she especially loved, admired and adored her daddy.

Kennedie is survived by her parents, Thomas Murphy, II and Ariel Arnaud Murphy and Kami and Casey Fruge; brothers, Thomas, III and Rusty Murphy; her sister, Trinity Murphy; her bonus siblings, Chloe and Gaven Fruge and Dylan Murphy; as well as, her soon to be baby sister; grandparents, Thomas and Mattie Murphy, Ronnie Arnaud, Holly Venezia, Geraldine Fruge and Donald Estillette; Kennedie Faye is also survived by her godparents, Thomas Murphy, Sierra Robinson and Chris and Karlie Miller; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kennedie is preceded in death by her grandfather, Sean Venezia; her aunt, Hollie Venezia; and her uncle, Rusty Doga.
