Kinder-Kathleen "Toots" Eastwood, 74, was born on April 27, 1948 and passed away in the arms of Jesus on August 12, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Chaplain Victor Becerra will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 5-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Kathy was as feisty as they come however full of life and love. For the majority of her life, she was a homemaker always caring for her family. She went by many names mama, toots, Mawmaw and auntie. Her home was home to many. She always had a pot of gumbo on to feed everyone. Toots enjoyed thrift shopping, and dot damn she had a lot of blue jeans and purses. If you were to come by you most likely would find her outside drinking coffee with a cigarette in hand and yelling for her dogs. Toots was young at heart, always down to have a good time and dance. She never met a stranger because she loved to talk. Your memory will live in our hearts forever Mawmaw.

Those left to cherish Toot's memory include her three sons, Van Michael Eastwood of Kinder, Milford Ray Eastwood, Jr. and wife, Shana, of Kinder and Glenn Terral Eastwood of Dry Creek; daughter, Sandra Becerra and husband, Victor, of Bryan, TX; brother, John Henry Willis of Sulphur; two sisters, Dorothy Johnson of Lake Charles and Karen Windsor of Eastabuchie, MS; twenty-three grandchildren; and thirty-six great grandchildren.

Toots is preceded in death by her parents, Anley and Joan Rider; husband, Milford Eastwood, Sr.; three sisters, Joan Walker, Marylee Fruge and Tammy George; granddaughter, Casey Eastwood; and grandson-in-law, Tim Smith.
