Oberlin-Funeral Services for Justin Blayke Carroll, 27, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin. Rev. Greg Willis and Rev. David Wolfe will officiate. Burial will follow at Durio Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Justin was a loving son, brother, grandson and great grandson. He was an avid LSU fan. Justin enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and raising vegetables. He loved spending time with his family; he especially loved spending time with his brothers who were also his best friends. Justin was a very kind person and loved helping people, especially elderly ladies on the side of the road.  He worried more about others than himself even if it costed him money. As a child, when asked what Justin wanted to be when he grew up he would always say "a big fat truck driver" following in his grandfather's footsteps. Justin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Justin's memory include his mother, Melissa A. Carroll of Oberlin; father, Otis Ray Carroll, Jr., and wife, Wendy, of Elizabeth; grandparents, Otis Ray Carroll, Sr., and wife, Dianne, of Oakdale; grandmother, Eda Nell McComic of Oberlin; three brothers, Hunter Carroll of Oberlin, Garrett Carroll of Oakdale and Koby Carroll of Elizabeth; one sister, Lennox Carroll of Elizabeth; as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Glenn McComic.
