Kinder-Funeral Services for Julia R. Lowe, 71, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Elton Assembly of God. Rev. Dustin Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 4 p.m. until with a singing service at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Julia was a loving mother, ahpo, sister, aunt and a friend to all. She attended Elton Assembly of God where she was a lifelong member. She enjoyed shopping, weaving baskets and cooking. Her family says "everything she cooked was the best." Julia loved cats and birds, especially hummingbirds. Last, but not least, she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She was a proud member of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and was a very prideful, yet humble woman. Julia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Julia's memory include her two sons, Levi Johnson and wife, Janie, of Elton and Casey Johnson and wife, Kristen, of Kinder; two daughters, Lynn Obe and husband, Darren, Sr. of Livingston, TX and Marcie Victorian and husband, Lawrence "Shorty", of Elton; two brothers, Gary Robinson of Elton and Clinton "Wayne" Robinson and wife, Carlene, of Elton; two sisters, Sharon Crosby of Elton and Loretta Williams and husband, Dana "Dano", of Elton; and thirteen grandchildren, Sequoia Obe, Darren Obe, Jr. Kasign Williams, John Peter Williams, Isaiah, Allie, Olivia, Kenzie, Taylor, Alleysen, Gavin, Ramie and Pyper Johnson.

Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Florence Robinson; first husband, John Peter Williams; one brother, Sanford Robinson; and one grandson, Tallsun "T.J." Obe.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Coushatta Health Department for all of their help.
