Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Judy Ann Lormand Hardesty, 58, will be held Friday, July 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in First United Pentecostal Church in Kinder. Rev. T.L. Smith & Rev. Rod Nesmith will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will begin Wednesday in the funeral home from 5pm-9pm, and at the church Thursday from10:00am-9pm. Visitation will continue Friday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Hardesty was a resident of Kinder. She passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in her residence from a long battle with cancer.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Hardesty Sr. of Kinder; Children, Robert Terry & wife Paula of Iowa, Joey Bohannon & wife Ann of Kinder, Terrell Hall of Kinder; step children, Albert Hardesty Jr. of Jennings & Jennifer Hardesty of Kinder; brother, Vincent Daigle of Evangeline; sisters, Ruby Thibodeaux of Jennings & Betty Ann Knighten of Monroe; 7 grandchildren, Joshua, Lyndsey, Jonathan, Krystal, Tiffany, Beth, & Erianna.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Isabel Lormand; grandson, Christopher Shane Terry.
