Oakdale-Judith Ann West, 72, passed away peacefully in a local hospital on August 6, 2021.  Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.  Judith's family will hold a private memorial service at a future date.

Judith was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Dave, for 47 years until his passing in August, 2017.  Judith enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing, yardwork and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Judith will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Judith's memory include her two daughters, Nicole West of Lake Charles and Emilie Davis and husband, Steve of Rosenburg, TX;  three sisters, Teddy Ward and husband,  Richard of Houston, TX, Jenny Garett of Oakhurst, CA and Betty Meyer of Prescott, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
