Kinder-Funeral services for Judith Deshotel Cormier, 94, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Greg Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Judith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Clevance, for thirty-two years until his passing in June of 2018. Judith enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, growing flowers, doing crossword and cross number puzzles. She loved visiting with her family and friends. She had a wonderful relationship with her Savior and was a very loving, generous person. Judith loved family events because it allowed her to spend cherished time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Judith's memory include her three daughters, Doris Louviere and husband, Ted, of Iowa, Ellen Clement of Gallatin, TN and Martha Barron of Madison, TN; two step-sons, Doug Cormier and Clevance Cormier, Jr.; one sister, Sue Smith and husband, Kenneth, of Conroe, TX; two brothers, L.C. Deshotel of Elton and Frank Deshotel of Tomball, TX; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and ten step-grandchildren.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents, L.J. and Edith Deshotel; husband, Clevance Cormier; one daughter, Mary Kendrick; one step-daughter, Linda Duplichin; three grandchildren, Monica, Michelle and Margo Kendrick; one great-great grandchild, Elia Smith; three sisters, Velma Richard, Zula Tuttle and Stella Mayon; and two brothers, Jester and Steve Deshotel.
