Kinder-Funeral service will be held for Joyce Marie Lemelle, age 66, at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a "people-person" and always helped others. She liked to joke, cook, play dominoes, and loved spending time with her family. Joyce will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Joyce's memory include her mother, Theresa Prudhomme; three sons, Andrew Lemelle and wife, Berlisha, Marcus Vickers and wife, Shanda, Yucelf Lemelle and wife, Tajauna; one daughter, Lisa Jones and husband, Barnaby; one brother, Lonnie P. Prudhomme; two sisters, Belinda Prudhomme and Mary Fuselier; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Audrey Prudhomme; and her brother, Jimmy B. Prudhomme.
