Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Joyce Wilcox Holman, 83, will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Steve Rasco & Rev. T.L. Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2pm-10pm and will continue Wednesday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Holman was a lifelong resident of Kinder, and a member of Oberlin Pentecostal Church. She passed away Monday, May 19, 2008 in a local care center.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Holman & wife Audrey of Kinder, Norman Holman & wife Annabelle of Moss Bluff; two daughters, Elaine Marcantel & husband Carroll of Oberlin, Martha Barker & husband Eugene of Oakdale; brother, Dale Wilcox of Port Arthur, TX; two sisters, Marjorie Rogers of Orangefield, TX & Anna Lee Mitchell of Ruston; 8 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Holman.
