Joshua was a 2016 graduate of Elton High School, where he was a member of the basketball and football team for most of his high school years. He enjoyed gaming and spending time with his brother and sister. Joshua enjoyed a good steak and a homemade apple pie whenever he could get it. His family and friends were everything to him. Joshua was the guardian of his family, the defender of the underdog. He was sarcastic, funny and intelligent. Above all else, he knew he was the favorite! Joshua's memory and spirit will forever live on in the lives of his brother and sister. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Joshua's memory include his parents: Bethany Hebert LeGros of Elton and Jeremy LeGros and wife, Krystal, of Jasper, TX; brother, Alexander Paul LeGros of Elton; sister, Anna LeGros Newell and husband, Alexander, of Pineville; maternal grandmother, Kay Hebert of Elton; paternal grandparents, Joey and Connie LeGros of Andrus Cove; maternal great grandmother, Mollie Watson of Iowa; Godparents, Leah Marlow of Elton and Brandon Broussard of Jennings; as well as a host of cousins and friends that were like his siblings.
Joshua is preceded in death by his grandfather, Albert Lee Hebert, Sr.; great grandparents, Percy and Doris LeGros, Beulah Marcantel and Lee LeBlanc; and cousin, Erynn Lee Hebert.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.-Jeremiah 29:11
