Kinder-Funeral service for Joshua Dillon Granger, 21, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the chapel of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 4-9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Joshua was a loving father, son, grandson, and brother.  In his youth, he played Little League football where his coaches always played him on the line due to his size and strength.  He was a student at Reeves High School prior to graduating from National Guard Youth Challenge Program in 2018.  He currently worked for Mineral Tech in Indian Village and took great pride in his job.  Josh always enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.  Perhaps Joshua's favorite role in life was that of being a dad to his beautiful baby girls.  He adored them and found his greatest joy in spending time with them and their mom, Lauren.  Being with family was an essential part of Josh's life and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Josh's memory include his loving parents, Roy and Valerie Granger of Kinder; his fiancée, Lauren Eaves and his two daughters, Ella Grace and Zoey Mae Granger, all of Reeves; his brother and sister, Caleb R. Granger and Sara E. Wellsted, both of Kinder; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Jane Stanford of Ragley; maternal grandparents, Brenda Mouser and husband, Chris of Kinder and Wilfred Willis and wife, Evelyn of Oakdale; maternal great grandmothers, Pernie Johnson and Betty Willis, both of Oakdale; two nieces, AloraLyn and EmmaLee; one nephew, Kaison; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
