Kinder- Funeral mass for Mr. Joseph Otis Soileau, 74, will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 1p.m. in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2pm-10pm with a vigil at 6pm and a rosary will follow. Visitation will continue Wednesday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Soileau was a resident of Kinder, a member of the VFW in Elton. He died Sunday, March 25, 2007 in his residence.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Brent Soileau & wife Janice of Denham Springs, Travis Blaine Soileau of Kinder; two daughters, Myra Miller of Kinder, Phyllis Fruge & husband Jimmie of Amarillo, TX; four sisters, Lesie LaFleur of Kinder, Mary Courville of Kinder, Ruby Rester of Kinder, Juanita Womack of Easley, South Carolina; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Poley & Dea Soileau; sister, Lilly Courville; son-in-law, Mike Miller; infant son, Darrell Soileau.
